A Little About Long Tail Keywords

Some words and phrases are easier to rank for than others.  This is due to the amount of competition trying to get those coveted top spots on page one of Google.  If you try to rank your site for a word like “camera”, you are going to have one heck of a time doing it.  Millions of people search Google for that single word, and all of the big dogs in online sales have spent a fortune getting themselves ranked for that word.  The fact that Google has a major crush on big brands now doesn’t help matters either.  Have you noticed that the top of the listings are almost always ads anymore?  But I digress.

Anyway, in general, the more words you add to the keyword phrase, the easier it becomes to rank.  ”Canon Powershot camera” would be easier to rank than just “camera”.  If you keep on following this logic, something like “Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS Review” would be even easier.  These long tail phrases don’t get nearly as much traffic as the “head” keyword, camera, but they are MUCH easier to rank for, and the idea is that being able to rank multiple long tails quickly will result in big numbers in the long run.

Finding the long tails that people actually type into Google has always been a bit of a guessing game, but Google does tip their hand a bit.  The Google Adwords tool is pretty unreliable, but when you start typing things into the Google search box, you will find that Google tries to guess what you are looking for.  It offers up suggestions based on what other people have asked about previously.  I’ve often thought that being able to grab up those suggested terms could be very profitable, but doing it manually would be an unbelievable time sink and a pain in the neck to say the least.  Recently, a guy I know from a couple of different forums came up with the AMAZING tool shown in the video above.  As you’ve seen, it actually grabs the terms suggested by Google when keywords are typed in.  I’m talking about thousands of long tail keyword phrases in minutes!  It is the only tool of its kind that I have ever seen.  I’ve been using it pretty much every day, and I’ve dug up some long tail phrases I never would have thought of (and that the Google Adwords tool didn’t show me!)   This truly is a must see… Watch more videos HERE.  It is also dirt cheap compared to other research tools, but he even offers a free version for people to take for a test drive.  If you do anything that requires getting ranked in Google, don’t miss this.  Learn more about Keyword Researcher.

Giving your body a break from stress and your mind relief from turmoil will be good for your health and help get you on the road to recovery.

Purge the Reminders–Keep No “Souvenirs” of the Relationship

Don’t make the mistake of holding onto items that are bound to make you feel the sense of loss all over. You can pack them away, give them away, sell them on eBay or throw them in the trash. The very act of getting rid of them helps you accept the finality of the relationship’s demise so you can get on with your life.

Don’t Mope Around the House

Get dressed and get out. Sitting in the house does not help you keep your mind off your ex and your home will inevitably remind you of them. There is plenty to do to pass the time whether going to a movie, the mall, or a friend’s place. Getting out will remind you of all the great things in the world you still want to enjoy.

Take a Trip

If expense is not an insurmountable obstacle, you are now free to see any National Park or museum, national wonder or monument you have ever wanted to see. There may be fascinating places of history or beauty near you that you have never bothered to check out. Now is the best time.

Don’t torment yourself with thinking incessantly about what could have been or what went wrong. Let the past go and start thinking about the fun you can have in the present, so you can start looking forward to the future. Losing a valuable relationship is traumatic and you have the right to feel disappointment, sadness and loss. Do not wallow in these emotions. Acknowledge them and make a conscious decision to move on. Don’t wait to feel better–be proactive and take charge of your life and your feelings. You deserve to be happy.
